Gossip from the Crays.

By The Cheil.

The performance of “The Thunderbolt” by the Lewisham Players at St. Paul’s Cray Village Hall on Friday and Saturday last week drew quite good audiences on both days. The profits are to be divided between St. Paul’s Cray Church Restoration Fund and St. Mary Cray Village Hall Fund but with very heavy expenses I fear that neither fund will benefit in any way commensurate to all the hard work put in by Mr. E. H. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Collier, not to mention the visiting players, who were charmingly thanked by Mrs. Berens. Miss Collier, Mr. C. Fife and Mr. H. Onley played selections during the intervals.
